                                      _______________________________

Two route options are offered now, the Central or Traditional Way and the Coastal Way. Both itineraries start in Porto, Portugal, and qualify for the Credencial Compostela.  What sets this route to Santiago apart from others is the opportunity to experience the food, culture, hospitality and natural beauty of northern Portugal and the southern region of Galicia, Spain.  Our journey takes us through river valleys, coastal walkways, vineyards, quaint villages, and the small towns that make this route special.

Each day begins with breakfast at our accommodation, a brief orientation on the day's walk, and a brief devotional. Pilgrims walk from accommodation to accommodation, with a support vehicle available for support services and emergencies.  After checking in at the night's accommodation there is usually time to relax, shower, and prepare for dinner.  After dinner a brief prayer service (Compline) is offered for any who want to participate.

What’s included in the fee?

· Four orientation sessions, three via Zoom prior to the pilgrimage and another at the welcome dinner in Porto

· Accommodation in a 2 or 3 star hotel

· Breakfast and dinner (lunch is on your own)

· Luggage transfer

. Wine tastings

· Lectures/presentations on Portuguese and Galician food, wine, and culture

· Trip guide and support vehicle
